Tucker's Portrait

Tucker's Portrait
Practicing and continually improving our portrait skills doesn't mean we have to stick to people - pets are a really fun way to keep ourselves sharp, especially as they don't usually obey complicated posing instructions ("left paw up", "nose down" or "look up" don't mean much to our dogs :-) - getting them to sit and stay is hard enough!

Instead, they prefer to just be themselves, and we have to work around that and be prepared to catch those perfect little moments as and when they occur. The ability to remain alert for the unexpected, and to be able to capture those jewels when they do happen is invaluable in situations such as weddings.

I love this portrait of Tucker, our Golden Retriever - it really captures the essence of his intelligent and ever-curious personality, and we may reproduce this as a canvas wall portrait for the home.
